Nathan Hale Homecoming Celebration Honoring Gary Case and Joan Northfield

Nathan Hale High School 2015 Homecoming Celebration


Come help us honor Coach Gary Case and Joan Northfield for the many years of dedication they have given to Nathan Hale High School, October 9th, 2015 at the Nathan Hale Homecoming Celebration. 

Starting at 4:00 with a meet & greet. The perfect time to come back and reconnect! We will have the famous food trucks - so come hungry! 

A Pep Rally will start at 5:00 in the gym with a special presentation to be made to Gary Case and Joan Northfield and we will also have Alumni Cheer and sing our Fight Song! 

Stick around and visit with Joan and Gary for a social reception with cake and punch! We are also looking for anyone that might have something special to say or share about the impact Gary or Joan may have had on them in their lives.... contact me if you would like to share. Nathan Hale Class of 1970 45 Year Reunion

45th Class Reunion and Picnic for Alumni and Families

UPDATE:  We will have a food truck (Larry’s Smokehouse) available, with food and beverages to purchase, during the event. Menu items will include:  smoked pull barbeque pork, beef brisket or chicken sandwich with chips-$5, bottled pop or water-$1 and cold slaw or potato salad-$1/serving.  Pepperoni sticks, smoked salmon and jars of Larry’s Smokehouse BBQ sauce will also be available to purchase. Boogie on down to Woodland Park to picnic, play games and catch up with your classmates!
FOOD: Pack a picnic lunch or bring along food to grill – 4 small grills are available. There’s a large, covered shelter with tables and benches as well as two sinks with running water. In addition, there are 9 uncovered tables with benches.
GAMES: Bring along your sports equipment and pop-up game nets (no stakes, please). Horse shoe pits (15) are adjacent to the site but you will need to supply the horse shoes.
RELAX:  Bring blankets and chairs to bask in the sun on the large, grassy area.
Nearby activities: Woodland Park Zoo, Green Lake, multiple trails, and an off- leash dog area.
Accommodations: Large, free parking lot and ADA accessible shelter and nearby restroom.
Park Rules: City park rules apply: leashed dogs are allowed, no illegal substances, alcoholic beverages or amplified sound allowed.
Directions:
Traveling north on Aurora Ave North: Turn right into park at Aurora Avenue North and North 59thStreet. Parking lot is near entrance.
Traveling from Green Lake area:  From N. 50th Street and Green Lake Way N., travel north on Green Lake Way N.; turn left at Green Lake Pitch and Putt onto W. Green Lake Way N.; turn left at the next small road; stay to the right at the “Y” in the road and continue uphill; turn right at the “T”; drive about ¼ mile to the parking lot which is parallel to Aurora Avenue North. (Shelter Site #6 is next to the horseshoe pits).
Suggested donation: $5/person or $15/family to cover cost of venue and event (will collect at site)
